Chairman
Paul
Paul has been a resident owner since 2016 and was elected to the committee in 2019.
​
Paul is a fully licensed financial adviser who has been operating his own agency for over 12 yrs.
​
Coming from a finance / corporate background Paul knows how to work in a team environment and gives freely to the Phoenician community – he liaises with both legal and strata on all matters regarding every changing environment and the many current challenges.
Paul was initially called upon to step in as acting chair (due to the untimely and devasting loss of Rick just prior to the AGM in 2021) at a most crucial time in the history of the Phoenician a role he performed admirable. Paul was then elected Chair at the 2022 AGM.

Secretary
Brenda
Brenda has been a resident owner at the Phoenician since 2018 and on the committee since 2019.
​
As an elected member of the committee Brenda has held the position of secretary for 2 years.
​
Brenda has a strong background as an accountant and in community service, holding several high-profile public positions.
​
Her governess includes being a duly elected councilor for the City of Belmont (WA) a position she held for 8 years – Brenda has many years of experience working on corporate committees and provides an extraordinary level of knowledge and clarity to the current committee.​

Treasurer
Anne
Anne has resided in her family owned unit since 2003 and served on Committee since 2011.
Anne has an extensive background in legal searching as well as other businesses including hospitality. Knowing the history of the Phoenician and with this knowledge provides invaluable help for Committee members as well as the wider Phoenician community.
​
As treasurer Anne has maintained a tight budget and it is testament that there has never been a special levy or request for additional funds during her tenure.

Ordinary Member
Ken
Ken has been a resident owner along with his wife June at the Phoenician since 2008 and was first elected to the committee in 2013, dissatisfied with the way the then committee operated he resigned 18 months later only to be reelected in 2019 as part more positive and proactive committee.
​
Ken is a true giver to the community – a Life member of the Kurrawa Surf club he can be found every morning at the club volunteering his time and helping the many clubbies with their pursuits whether it be the nippers, fund raising or just lending a hand to the staff Ken is always available.
​
Not only is Ken community minded he also has a background as a corporate highflyer in the food manufacturing and agricultural arena spending many years negotiating with muti nationals while also managing a company with dozens of staff .
​
This is the sort of pedigree Ken brings to the table along with and his no nonsense style of communication he is an incredible resource to the Phoenician community

John
John has been a resident owner at the Phoenician since 2002 and was first elected to the committee in 2003. He then took a break from the committee to further his extensive travel resume being reelected in 2019.
He is also an investor owning a 2nd unit within the complex giving him greater insight and understanding to the needs of the many owners who use the facilities as holiday / short term income.

A self-funder retiree John has background in property development, manufacturing, and hospitality = being a business owner for all these years, Johns corporate knowledge and sensible approach to issues makes him a real asset to the Phoenician community.

Kylie
Kylie brings a fresh and passionate approach along with a sharp business sense to the board and the Phoenician.
​
Kylie has lived in the Phoenician since 2019, becoming an owner in 2021.
Kylie values everything the Phoenician offers residents and guests and was very interested in joining the Committee to actively work with a team of people who hold the best interests of owners at heart.
​
As a manager of one of the popular restaurants located on the ground floor she brings with her a wealth of experience in business in addition to being directly on the daily pulse of what is happening in the street, community and within the commercial sector.

Ordinary Member
Robert
Robert has been an owner of commercial buildings within the Phoenician since 2019 and is appreciating more every day what this iconic building has to offer to both holiday makers and those that have chosen to live and/or work at the Phoenician.
Robert is Director of a several companies in hospitality, education, property development and tourism. He is the current owner of a range of businesses offering niche products to local markets through to National branding with operations Australia-wide. Robert was elected as a member of the Body Corporate in 2022 and with his passionate approach will provide valuable support to the local businesses within the Phoenician.
